When fishing with soft plastic as much of us know they can be damaged very easily. A common fix for most damage is to carry a lighter with you and lightly apply the flame to the soft plastic. To reheat the plastic to its liquid form only but for a second to repair the lure. Another trick to use is super glue applying a small drop to the lure can also fix the lure and keep it together.
Super Glue can also be used to keep the lure on the hook or a leadhead. I personally like to keep a fresh bottle of super in my box and a lighter just for these reasons.
